Originally from my homemade/handmade spring 2017 EP *Wherever I've Been, Wherever I Go*, this track also made the eventual album *Relics '16-17*.

The lyrics are about a droplet of water from a spring that travels down a mountain, collecting other droplets into a river I spent time walking along and thinking about.

Abandons the boulders
Picks up like the breeze
It sings like an angel
with the greatest of ease

It flows with a trickle
low facing the south
I drink of the water
She kisses my mouth

We move down together
With purpose and pace
Trees faster and faster
No time left to waste

It hums with a chorus
of a billion and one
It breathes like I'm breathing
and the best isn't done

It swells like an ocean
On the edge of a roar
I'm blind and I'm rushing
Caught up in it more, and more, and more...

It pulled with a purpose
It sang from the start
Still sings like an angel
Still sings from the heart

We cut through the valley
We cut through the tone
